Primary school "Yane Sandanski" was founded on 8th of November,1948.
The new building opened its doors for the first time.

From the opening till now principals of the school were:

1.Krustio Tzolev - from 1948 to 1960

2.Kostadin Garabiiski - from 1960 to1963

3.Nadejda Racheva - from 1963 to 1965

4.Peter Yadkov – from 1965 to 1997

5.Georgi Trenchev since1997 till today.

The building of the school has been repaired some times.
On 15th of September, 1975 an enlargement was finished. Four classrooms were added.
Since 1978 the school has been heated by steam.
In 1984 a gym and a canteen were built which are the next enlargements.

Primary school "Yane Sandanski" has collaboration with the primary school "Arhimandrid Zinovii" in the town of Radomir. An agreement was signed which aims are to improve the quality and the effectiveness of the education and training. There are a lot of common events, exchanged between the two schools - excursions, different games and interesting lessons, "Green school" in the regions of Borovetz, Panichishte, Betolovoto and others, different competitions. The collaboration between the schools is very strong and now it`s still working.
